- Telangana has mandated that state-owned vehicles older than 15 years be scrapped through e-auctions, promoting efficient fleet management and the adoption of newer, fuel-efficient vehicles.
4. Infrastructure Development
- The state is establishing Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilities (RVSF) at multiple locations.
- 37 automated testing stations will be set up across the state, replacing manual testing procedures at Regional Testing Offices for precise and efficient vehicle assessments.
- The state has allocated Rs 296 crore to develop these facilities, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable transport solutions.
